| Caffé Latte |
Description (Italian translation for Milk - also written as Café Au Lait in Italian): The bedtime drink for many café Goers. Even though it still has the usually serve of coffee in it, many believe because there is more milk than coffee and it sounds like a bedtime drink then it won't keep them up. Well, people's perception is a strange thing - as long as they enjoy it!
How to:
- Firmly tamper 7 grams of ground coffee.
- The pour should be 1/3 of the glass.
- Add 2/3 fresh milk that is hot enough to drink almost immediately rather than waiting for it to cool.
- Scoop milk froth to the top of the glass.
- Top with a sprinkle of chocolate powder if desired.
- Serve in a slightly larger glass than normal. Some serve these in Irish coffee glasses as it allows you to add more milk and the presentation is appealing. However a standard coffee cup is acceptable.
